Tesla Model S: Pedal to the Metal (Video)
Taking Tesla’s New EV to the Track
The Inside Line crew took a brand new Model S Performance Edition to the test track to see if the car really is all that, and if journalists’ first impression about the EV was correct. It turns out that, if anything, Tesla was conservative about its numbers. Tesla claims a 0 to 60 MPH time of 4.4 seconds for Model S Performance Edition, and on the track a time of 4.3 was achieved (they even got 4.0 seconds with a 1-foot rollout).
